Recently, the 'Purple Brigade' has emerged in Bullas, a feminist collective that acts in case of harassment or macho aggression in parties and events of great affluence.
As they say from the collective, "the idea arose when we were observing how in different parts of our country there was a brigade that carried out its work in parties like the Carnival of Cadiz, San Fermines, Bando de la Huerta, etc. and even in other towns Small than Bullas ".
'The Purple Brigade' is made up of almost 30 people, boys and girls, over 17 years.
His slogan is: "If you are being harassed or some kind of macho violence, do not hesitate to look for the purple bracelet in the area! We will help you."
They were already visible in Bullas, for the first time, during Easter Sunday, and they are prepared to act in case it is necessary during the celebrations of San Marcos, one of the most popular parties and with greater public influx in the town.
From the Department of Equality and Social Services show their support to this group that is characterized by wearing a purple bracelet as a feminist symbol.
