Last Sunday, the celebration of the San Marcos Festival coincided with the dispute of the Play Off Finals of Handball in the category male cadet, party that was played in Eagles, and the female cadet category, which was in Murcia.
There, the Club Handball Bullense represented Bullas with dignity obtaining the third and fourth position, respectively.
These events prevented its members from participating in the marching parade of San Marcos.
That is why, beyond the sports achievements, from the Club they want to emphasize the original initiative that the girls had when they came up to collect their prize dressed in vegetable gardens before the general surprise of the public and the media.
"A gesture that we applauded and celebrated, because these athletes demonstrated that our party is more alive than ever," they point out from Club Bullonmano Bullense.
From the city council, Councilor for Sports, Alfonso Manuel Guirado, wants to highlight the commitment shown by everyone with the sport, putting handball over a party as important for bullfighters as San Marcos.
