The students of the Colegio Obispos García Ródenas have arrived late this morning to the classrooms as a protest to ask the Ministry of Education to reopen a line of children in the center.
The AMPA of this public school has manifested today from 9 to 9.30 hours at the gates of the center demanding not to massify the classrooms in the schools of the municipality of Bullas and therefore demand the double line of children.
And it is that there are six families of Bullas who have not been able to choose the school in which to school their children.
Clotted by parents, neighbors and students have read a manifesto that they wanted to support with their presence the Regional Deputy PSOE, Choni Ludeña, representatives of Comisiones Obreras and Councilor for Education, Antonio José Espín.
A few days ago this same AMPA presented before the Ministry more than two thousand two hundred signatures of support, in addition to having the favor of the political groups with representation in the City council that last month unanimously approved a motion in which they demanded the reopening of This unit defending the freedom of choice of center.
"The decision of the Ministry of Education to cut classrooms will affect the entire Bullas Educational Community," said Councilman Antonio Jose Espin who said that "next year classes will reach 25 students instead of a ratio of 22 , 9 students per classroom and, therefore, there will be no public offer of school posts throughout the year throughout the municipality.
From the AMPA of the Ródenas will continue with the demonstrations until they achieve what they believe is fair and is that the children who next year begin their schooling do so in non-massed classrooms.
Tomorrow again they will be planted at the gates of the center in the first hour and in the afternoon have called a demonstration at 20.30 in the Plaza de España.
