The City of Bullas has no record about the news published today by the newspaper "La Opinión de Murcia" on the request by political parties in the regional assembly and mayors of the Comarca del Río Mula to urgently open the well Corral de Comba to irrigate, given the lack of water resources due to extreme drought.
For Councilman for Environment and Agriculture, Juan Valera "worries that the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura will now make the decision to open a well that is illegal according to a court ruling."
The Edil adds that "we know that with the well of the Pradillo there is enough for irrigation in fields that are not dry land."
On the statements of the Mayor of Mula, Juan Jesus Moreno, in which according to the regional newspaper ask the Water Commissioner to open the well Corral de Comba, Juan Valera does not know that this is so since from the City Council Of Bullas like other municipalities of the region fight because there is a natural ecological flow and, therefore, measures like the closing in its day by judicial order of Corral de Comba help to it.
"We will watch over the interests of bullfighters and we will urge the Confederation not to open illegal wells and protect the interests of all, as well as take care of the Mula River and its natural flow. With the judicial sentence and we remember that we have since the beginning of the legislature demanding the CHS ecological flow in its entire stretch from the beginning, "says Juan Valera.
