About 150 people participated yesterday in the march, which took place on the streets of Bullas, on the occasion of the Day Against Breast Cancer.
At the end, after a dance in the Plaza de España, the talk began with Dr. Agustín Navarrete, Oncologist and President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Murcia.
At the table, next to him were Mayor Maria Dolores Muñoz and the former president of the AECC Local Board, Patricia Amor, who left yesterday excitedly after years of service to the Association.
There was also the new president of the Local Board, Emilio Fernández.
During the meeting, Patricia Amor said goodbye with a speech of appreciation, touched by the affection she has received during all these years, and she, yesterday, in her farewell also wanted to convey.
From now on, Emilio Fernández will take over and chair the new Board, accompanied by the Vice President, Cati Amor, and the Secretary, Chari Fernández, as well as the members, all neighbors and neighbors of Bullas.
For her part, Mayor Muñoz wanted to thank Patricia for her dedication and work during all these years, giving her a gift.
Muñoz, also had words for the new Board and welcomed them, stating that the City Council of Bullas will collaborate with the great work that the Association does, among which stands out, organize events to raise money for research, fundamental for the Survival in cancer has increased by 20% over the last 20 years and also seeks to improve the quality of life of people suffering from the disease.
The act of commemorating World Breast Cancer Day ended with an agape in the Don Pepe Marsilla building.
