November 11 is the fourth edition of the activity 'SecretWine Walks' - discovering the roads of wine - promoted by the Department of Local Development and Tourism of the City of Bullas, the Bullas Wine Route and the Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Protected Origin Bullas.
Just in the period of the year in which the vines acquire their striking golden tones warning changes in their vegetative cycle, the Bullas Wine Route encourages us to know some of the most unexplored and recondite corners of a region traditionally linked to the culture of wine .
Hiking, cultural heritage and local cuisine in a new edition of "SecretWine Walks", in which we combine nature and vineyards, and discover, on this occasion, places as unknown as Martibáñez and the good work in the production of wines from San Isidro Winery of Bullas.
The program starts at 9.45 h.
with the reception of the assistants in the Wine Museum.
At 10:00 h.
it is the exit towards the place of Martibáñez.
It is a mountainous area of ​​great scenic richness, of cut out orography, to make a journey on foot that takes us to the place of La Luz, old halt of the vanished line of the railroad that at present has recovered for the Road Northwest Green.
Small patches of vineyards dot the pine forests, and in them the Monastrell grape stands out, an autochthonous variety very adapted to the intense thermal oscillations between day and night.
After noon, at 12:45 h., A visit to the facilities of Bodegas San Isidro de Bullas is scheduled, a modern winery, of industrial cut, where the different sectors of production for the elaboration are appreciated in detail and with clarity of quality wines of the Denomination of Origin Protected 'Bullas'.
Among them, the area of ​​reception, pressing, processing and fermentation, as well as the aging area.
The meal will be at the Borrego restaurant, certified by the Wine Routes of Spain and, finally, the day ends with a visit at 5 pm to the Don Pepe House-Museum and Bullas Archeology Classroom.
The price of the tour is 25 euros, which includes guide and bus.
