The City of Bullas has convened the first micro-story contest on Gender Violence.
This contest aims to raise awareness about Gender Violence, its roots and its consequences, as well as its possible solutions.
"We must promote actions to raise awareness among young people to know how to detect this type of behavior, which sometimes costs more to identify, because it adopts masked forms after a romantic conception of love, which is often where machismo and the violence in real relationships "says the Councilor for Equality and Social Services, Chari Martínez.
The contest titled "Young people can change the future" is aimed at young people between 14 and 30 years old who present a micro-story of 500 words until November 21, in which they show the vision on the fight against gender violence or situations of discrimination suffered by women in any of its areas.
The original works can be presented in the Department of Social Services, in the Office of Youth Management or in the Equality Agency from 9 am to 2 pm.
A jury will assess which works are worthy of the prizes, a first prize of 100 euros and a second prize of 50 euros.
