The Union of Small Farmers and Cattle Ranchers (UPA) of the Region of Murcia, with the collaboration of the City of Bullas, held on Tuesday, November 28, in the House of Culture of Bullas an informational meeting on xylella fastidiosa.
This is a phytopathogenic bacterium, with great potential for economic damage, since it attacks without cure at present several plants such as the vine, the olive tree, the almond tree, the plum tree, the peach tree, the lemon tree, among others.
At 7 o'clock in the afternoon will begin the presentation of Telesforo García, Head of Plant Health Service.
The Assembly will also be attended by the Mayor, María Dolores Muñoz, the General Director of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Francisco José González, and the General Secretary of UPA Murcia, Marcos Alarcón.
