That afternoon before the prizes were given there was also an act in memory of all the women victims of this social scourge with the participation of neighbors and groups of the locality that released white balloons in memory of the women murdered at the hands of their partners.
On the other hand, on Saturday another of the activities programmed for the 25th of November 'Day Against Gender Violence' was celebrated with the second march through the streets of the town in which dozens of people participated, including the Mayor María Dolores Muñoz who joined the front of it carrying a banner that read "No to violence against women."
At the end of the march a manifesto of repulsion and condemnation was read for all the violent acts committed this year towards women.
Recalling the victims again and also denouncing sexual harassment or discrimination. Calling for a more egalitarian society.
On Wednesday during the Ordinary Plenary, Councilwoman Chari Martínez will reread a manifesto against gender violence.
