The hamlet of La Copa de Bullas celebrates the Feast of the Immaculate Conception this week until December 8.
The festival started yesterday with the traditional meeting of bells of auroros that this year reached its seventeenth edition.
In the Plaza Juan Pablo II, the meeting took place that did not want to lose the dozens of neighbors who gathered there and who heard the songs of: Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary and Aurora de Abanilla, Hermandad De Ntra. Sra. Del Rosario de Santa Cruz (Murcia), Cofradía Virgen de La Aurora de Yecla, Brotherhood of Our Lady of La Aurora (Alcantarilla), Bell of Auroros of Our Lady of the Rosary of Rincón de Seca (Murcia), Bell of Auroros "Virgen Del Rosario" by Javalí Nuevo (Murcia), Bell of Auroros of Ntra. Sra. Del Carmen of Rincón de Seca (Murcia), Bell of Auroros Virgen del Rosario of Las Torres de Cotillas, Cuadrilla de Animeros del Campo de San Juan, El Sabinar and Calar de La Santa (Moratalla) and, no shortage, the hosts and organizers of the meeting, the Brotherhood of La Purísima Concepción of La Copa de Bullas.
These groups usually have a hand bell as the only accompanying instrument and are known as "Auroros" for the habit of singing at night and until dawn, accompanied by a lantern to light up the roads.
In the case of Bullas, the group goes from house to house touring La Copa.
