The vice-rector of Training and Innovation of the University of Murcia (UMU), Pedro Miralles, and the mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, signed yesterday the collaboration agreement for the start-up of a permanent headquarters of the university institution in the town .
The headquarters will be directed by the UMU professor, Francisco Reyes Marsilla, who said during the ceremony that the headquarters aims to bring knowledge to any sector of the population from childhood to adulthood.
In this sense, Marsilla, who has been working at the Bullas Municipal Archive, explained that "the documentation of the two existing archives, the parish and the municipal archives, is very large and the bulleros must be aware of it".
For its part, the Vice Chancellor for Training and Innovation stressed that there are already thirty permanent seats that the UMU has spread throughout the Region.
From Bullas City Council, both for the Councilor for Education and Culture, Antonio José Espín, and for the Mayor, this agreement will allow the joint development of activities aimed at permanent training, the promotion of culture and sports and, in general, all those activities that allow the achievement of objectives of interest to both institutions.
