The City of Bullas will receive two grants from the General Directorate of Commerce.
One for € 11,998.21, for the "Improvement of the image of the Municipal Market of Supplies", and another, of € 14,000.00, for the "Improvement of the commercial environment of weekly markets, in Placeta Gran Vía / Pino Corner of the Murta ".
This morning the Mayor of Bullas, María Dolores Muñoz, has received the General Director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification, Francisco Abril, and together, in addition to the Councilor for Trade, Chari Martínez, as well as councilors of the Municipal Corporation, have traveled the facilities of this space dedicated to local commerce.
The plan is to develop refurbishment works for the Plaza de Abastos, focusing on the façade and the adequacy of the toilets.
In addition, an awning will be placed in the surroundings of this commercial space to improve the climatic comfort of residents and customers, in a similar way to that existing in the Plaza Vieja in summer.
On this aid, the first Edil Muñoz has stressed that the first grant of almost 12 thousand euros must be added the € 8,500 that the City of Bullas will provide, amount budgeted in the General Municipal Budgets this year.
"An effort that we believe is important since it has a direct result for the merchant, but also for the citizen who will come to a place where he feels comfortable and will be in the best conditions," said the Mayor.
Also, the General Director of Commerce, Consumption and Administrative Simplification has taken advantage of the occasion to announce that the Regional Trade Awards will be convened from the Autonomous Community with the aim of recognizing the work of many traders in the Region.
