The students of the Employment and Training Workshop "Jardines de Bullas" made a visit last Wednesday to "Viveralia", the 15th Professional Salon of the Ornamental and Related Plants of Elche.
The visit, aimed at expanding the knowledge of the participants, consisted of two parts.
In the first they were able to enjoy the nurseries, facilities, machinery, irrigation systems, seeds or ornamental plants.
They also visited the area for decoration and garden furniture and the design and maintenance of a garden.
The second part was held at the Huerto del Cura in this Alicante town, a botanical garden that has more than thirteen thousand square meters and a thousand palm trees.
In addition, it has an area known as rockery where you can find cactus and succulent plants typical of the driest regions of our planet and that have adapted to this land.
