The Ruta del Vino Association, together with the collaboration of the municipalities of Cehegín and Bullas, has presented the promotional routes for this 2018. The calendar has a total of seven routes that will be carried out throughout the year with the objective of promoting wine tourism in the locality.
The first three routes are part of VINarte 2018. The first one, "Bullas, Bodega Natural", will take place on March 17 and includes a visit to the Wine Museum, a visit to the "El Aceniche" nature trail , visit to a winery, wine tasting and lunch in a restaurant on the Ruta.
The second stop will take place on Sunday, March 4, coinciding with the traditional "El Zacatín" craft market.
In it you can enjoy a theatrical visit to Casa Don Pepe, the old Balsa winery, visit to a winery, wine tasting and food.
The third and last route that we will find in VINarte 2018 will take place on March 17 and 18.
An "enological weekend" that will include a visit to the Wine Museum, tour of vineyards and visit to a winery with wine tasting, dinner pairing, night in rural accommodation and visit to Don Pepe House.
The next two routes will take place in September and October on the occasion of the Wine Festival.
"Vendimia Workshop" will be the first on September 29.
In it you can enjoy a visit to the House-Museum Don Pepe, vintage workshop, multi-adventure activities, visit to a winery, wine tasting and lunch.
The last route within the Wine Festival will take place on October 7.
This route will include a visit to the craft market "El Zacatín", where you can enjoy the traditional grape tread, as well as a theatrical visit to the Don Pepe House-Museum and wine tasting.
On the other hand, on November 10 and on the occasion of the European Day of Enotourism the penultimate route of the year will take place.
"SecretWine, discovering the roads of wine", will have a natural route with tour of vineyards and a winery, wine tasting and food at the Ruta certified restaurant.
Finally, the last route of the year will take place in Cehegín on December 1st.
This route will include a visit to the historical center of Cehegín and the ruins of Begastri, as well as a visit and wine tasting at the School of Wine and pairing food with DOP Bullas wines.
All the routes have a price of 30 euros, except the "Oenological Weekend" which has a cost of 55 euros since they are two days and includes one night of accommodation.
Meanwhile, the Route of October 7, "First grape must," is the most economical with a price of 15 euros.
