The Bullas Local Police has acquired new bulletproof vests, anti-knife and punch.
Until now, they only had six vests, two for each patrol car, and they were also past the expiration date.
Now, with this new acquisition, it has an individual and personal vest for each member of the body, differentiating size and sex.
The vests, built by the company FEDUR SA, are specially designed by the Forces of Order and are currently used by the Civil Guard, National Police and Autonomous Police, as well as by many Local Police.
The vest, external model FE-ZENIT, has a high ballistic protection and is ergonomically adapted to all the functions developed by the police, such as the different firing positions and the driving of vehicles.
Its use is ideal in situations such as road controls, static monitoring and specific interventions.
The acquisition of this garment comes as a result of the continuous claims that have been carried out by the Bullas Local Police, especially since June 4, 2015, when the Antiterrorist Alert Level rose to level 4. Finally, the current Councilman Security assumed the proposal as a need that should be covered as soon as possible, and that materialized a few months after taking over this responsibility.
