The Pairing Dinners will open this penultimate weekend of VINarte 2018. Next Friday dinner will be provided by Entretempos Café & Vino Restaurant.
The menu, which will be paired with Bodega Balcona, will include dishes made with seasonal fruits and vegetables from the Murcian garden.
On Saturday the "Excursion to the culinary world of ancient Rome" will take place.
The day will begin at 11:00 in the Wine Museum (place of departure).
At 11:15 there will be a visit to the Roman Villa of Los Cantos.
The visit of a delegation of the Roman Senator from Carthago Nova to the Villa Romana will be used to enjoy with them the archaeological and gastronomic legacy of their culture.
The food will be held in the Asador del Noroeste Restaurant, but before 12:00 a Roman gastronomic workshop will be held, where one of the recipes left by Marco Gavio Apicio in "De Re Coquinaria", one of the first recipe books.
Also on Saturday, at 8:30 p.m., a new delivery of the activity "Music to taste" will take place.
The Wine Museum will host the Cuban Music concert of the Chocolateson group.
And at the end there will be a wine tasting courtesy of Bodegas Lavia, Balcona and del Rosario.
On Sunday, and as a final point for this weekend, free guided tours to the Wine Museum and the "Los Niños de Los Cantos" Exhibition will take place at 11:00 hours.
