The Department of Equality and Social Services announced this morning who have been the winners of the XXIII Hiperbreve Narration Competition with the theme 'Women'.
The first prize worth 200 euros goes to María de la O Guillén for her story 'Sentencias'.
In second place, with 150 euros of prize, it is for Eva María Pelegri for 'Las chias que brillaban en la oscuridad'.
And the third prize goes to Antonio Javier Pagan for his work 'It must rain to pitchers' with 100 euros.
In total, 28 stories have been presented, reports Mayor Chari Martínez, from different locations in the Region and from different locations in the Spanish geography such as Alicante, Ciudad Real, Madrid, Valladolid, Toledo, Córdoba.
"A contest consolidated in time and celebrated on the occasion of the Commemoration of International Women's Day" highlights Martinez.
