Over the next 19, 20 and 21 July, will be developed in Rome, a technical seminar of the European Project LIFE ACT "Adaptation to climate change in time", which involved the City of Bullas along with four other partners.
This seminar is organized by the Italian Institute for Research and Environmental Protection (Ispra) and will be treated the same aspects of the baseline scenario of this problem, assessments of their impacts and local vulnerability, and strategies, actions and plans for adaptation to climate change.
This cooperation project aims, among others, the following: development of a process to provide local authorities with the creation of local coping strategies, involving local stakeholders in this strategy, develop and disseminate guidelines to encourage other communities to adopt the same process and strengthen the competence of local authorities in understanding the effects of climate change and, therefore, in planning and implementing policies and actions to adapt to it.
Bullas The delegation will consist of technical staff of the City Council, the Consejo Regulador of DO Bullas Wine Route, also having the presence of the CEO and Technical Director of Solar Gehrlicher Spain, SL, all the local partners project.
This seminar is part of the aim of seeking a genuine and effective response to climate change impacts, increasing the resilience of human and natural ecosystems, reducing their vulnerability.
Bullas, paying particular attention to the effects on agriculture, primarily focused on the wine and tourism.
