As each semester, the Tourism Observatory Wine Roads of Spain has made through its technical assistance (consultants dynamizes Cegos Advisers and Tea), the report about the same wine tourism, all certified by ACEVIN (Association Spanish Wine Cities) and the General Secretariat of Tourism.
In the period between July and December 2009, the Observatory has analyzed the various establishments that are attached to the 13 routes certified (warehouses, restaurants, hotels, museums, specialty shops, travel agencies, tourist information offices ...) among which include the Bullas Wine Route.
For the third time, Bullas has actively participated in this study to be a comprehensive review of existing wine tourism offer based on questionnaires sent to all companies involved.
These questionnaires specific to each type of establishment, address various aspects related to the products and services they offer and their own perception of membership in the Path and its benefits is part of the perpetrators.
About this last point shows that the value of being part of the Wine Route is highly positive (also noticeable in the establishments of other routes certified), which has increased the number of customers or visitors, although this has not meant a specific employment generation direct result of wine tourism.
Some of the other aspects have been studied, for example, the average expenditure per visit wineries and restaurants menu, the level of employment in the accommodation, the number of visits to the museums, the prices of the services offered or investments in relation to wine tourism in each of the companies.
The Bullas Wine Route and its 22 member establishments have already sent the information for the first half of 2010 to serve for the issuance of the next report will be released in the coming months.
