An outdoor stage will allow the celebration of cultural and leisure activities in the heart of the town
The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Land and Housing funds the redevelopment of the town of Bullas garden, which will have a new adjacent rectangular square of 1,250 square meters.
The Director General of Planning and Housing, Antonio Navarro, said the new space "will have a outdoor stage that will allow the celebration of cultural and leisure activities in the center of town."
He added that the square has been designed according to the needs of the neighbors, "so they can combine different uses."
The area will be integrated into the municipal garden, construction of which was also funded by the Community.
The garden covers an area of 10,000 square meters and is located next to the Avenida de Murcia, the main access to downtown.
The project also includes construction of a gazebo, a wooded area and a water surface from which emerge 20 columns of water that may be deactivated when required.
The performance is subsidized with 156,850 euros and is part of the regional government aid to municipalities for the design of public spaces.
