The Regulatory Board of Denomination of Origin wines Bullas held a meeting Monday morning to constitute the electoral commission, whose members were appointed on 18 April.
The agenda includes notification to holders registered on the Management Body of opening up the electoral process and its timetable, and the deadline for submitting nominations.
The members elected will make the proposal of a candidate for president of the Council who shall be appointed by the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerda.
DO Bullas is the youngest producing zone of the Region of Murcia which began in 1994.
The inscribed, with 600 growers, comprising a total of nine municipalities in the region and reaches more than 2,500 hectares of vineyard.
This label produces 1.4 million liters of wine annually.
