The Wine Museum has received a group of students from Argentina and participate in the program Swallow, aimed at people descendants of Spanish emigrants.
This is an initiative of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Region of Murcia which aims to establish ties with Murcia houses or associations abroad.
During his visit to Bullas, university students were accompanied by Professor of the University of Murcia and Program Coordinator, Fernando Cabinet, being received by the acting mayor, Esteban Egea Fernández, and Councilwoman Local Development and Tourism, María Dolores Muñoz Valverde.
During the visit to the Wine Museum, program participants could see first hand the intricacies of wine history and culture associated with the northwestern region of Murcia, and left his memory and stamped his signature on the Museum Guestbook .
Swallow Program's invitation to 2010/2011, aims to provide students thirteen Argentine descendants of Murcia the opportunity to study for a semester at the University of Murcia with a scholarship that covers their costs of accommodation, meals, travel and registration.
This program is made possible through the collaboration agreement signed between the Autonomous Region through the Ministry of the Presidency and the University of Murcia.
