On the morning of Wednesday November 9 Bullas Mayor, Pedro Chico, received the visit of President of the Union of Cooperatives of Associated Work in the Region of Murcia (Ucomur), Juan Antonio Pedreño.
In the boardroom, meeting place, in addition to the Mayor and the President, were the council of Local Development, and Vice Espin Wonders of this organization, Maruja Gates.
During the meeting, raised ideas, including the possibility of signing an agreement between the City of Bullas and Murcia Cooperative Union to launch a series of initiatives, all related to employment.
Chico has emphasized that "the social economy of the few that is keeping the type, taking into account the serious crisis we are suffering, so any experience we can move from Ucomur always be positive."
About a month ago, the organization's president, Juan Antonio Pedreño, along with the Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca, reported on the main results of cooperative and employment creation in 2010.
Pedreño announced that the Region of Murcia was the community that created the largest number of worker cooperatives across the country in the past year.
