The fifth and sixth school Elementary Public School Bishop Garcia Ródenas participated in a plantation of native species in the area near the greenway Bullas Northwest.
Due to the rains of last week the activity was postponed until yesterday morning, which have finally been able to implement the last phase of environmental actions aimed at raising awareness about the problems of desertification and forms to combat it.
The initiative is framed within the campaign "I love Green, Greenway 'organized on the occasion of World Habitat Day by Cajamar Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Consortium of the Northwest Greenway and the City Bullas.
Juan Soria, manager of the Greenway Consortium, pointed out that the Northwest Greenway account, following the opening of the last section, with a total of 78 kilometers.
For its part, the mayor of Bullas, Peter Chico, stressed that "we must preserve the environment, and ultimately, raise awareness among children of the need and importance of it, facing the future."
