School children 5 and 6 of Primary School Love of God have visited one of the wineries that are part of the Ruta del Vino Winery Monastrell SL, and during his visit, the students were able to observe, in situ, the current situation of the vineyards that have been affected by climatic effects such as hail or high temperatures this summer.
And, this week has begun the process of revitalization both in the classroom through lectures, symposium, and outside them, through trips to make known to young audiences climate change issues in the vineyards of the area.
The talks-awareness seminar on climate change will be led by the Doctor of Biology, Santiago Fernandez.
Fernandez will visit schools love of God, Bishop Garcia Rodena, Antonio Machado, Artero and Secondary Education Institute The Cantos.
These actions form part of Project ACT (Adaptation to climate change in time) under the LIFE Programme and which were proposed by the Department of European Projects directed by Maria Antonia April at a meeting on October 26, all centers education in the municipality.
The mayor of Bullas, Peter Chico, present during the visit of the students, said that "we can not ignore an issue that is hurting today's society, so it is good that children will raise awareness about the change from small climate ".
The Mayor has shown their support, these initiatives will continue during the coming months to later obtain conclusions and results forwarded to the appropriate European body.
