The mayor of Bullas, Peter Boy, met this morning at the concierge of Universities, Business and Research with the Adviser Jose Ballesta.
At the meeting, the Mayor was accompanied by Council of Trade and Urban Development, and Francisco Martinez Espin Wonderland, respectively.
Topics of interest has been discussed how to encourage local trade together, finishing the project Marimingo Industrial Estate and to take energy saving measures in the municipality of Bullas.
As regards the Industrial Park, the Mayor has confessed to the director who "have already taken the necessary actions to halt construction" and will hold meetings with Iberdrola "to unlock the power problem" .
Who do the Mayor has met with agents has been the Institute for the Promotion of the Region of Murcia (INFO), to "promote and encourage new business ventures that generate employment accordingly," added the matter.
In terms of energy saving measures, the City of Bullas will adhere to the collaboration with the Autonomous Region to promote savings and energy efficiency to achieve the objectives of the Covenant of Mayors, a European project to which have signed more than 3,000 locations in different countries, including all municipalities in the region.
The Chief Executive has presented the first Ballesta Bullas Edil action protocol entitled "Reducing Energy Consumption in the municipality of Bullas" signed by the Energy Management Agency of the Region of Murcia (ARGEM).
In this sense, the municipality will meet the objectives of the agreement to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and saving energy consumption through increased energy efficiency, among others.
