On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 March at Groesbeek (the Netherlands) the First European Meeting on Vincult Project involving the City of Bullas, along with other network members Vinest, International Association was established in the year 2004.
Even the Netherlands moved Mayor Bullas, Peter Boy, the European Union Councillor, Maria Antonia April and the President of the Denomination of Origin Bullas, Francisco Carreño, where they tried aspects of good practice in training for operators wine tourism and improving the supply and quality.
In Vincult Project includes representatives from seven European countries: Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Holland and Spain, with the common goal of strengthening the links between the different members of the Red Vinest safeguarding the scenic and cultural attractions of each participating cities by sharing experiences and enhancing the variety and individuality of its wines, its territories and cultures.
To strengthen the links between partners in this project covered by the European Union saw the twinning between the town of Bullas and Groesbeek.

Following the signing of the mayors, the Bullas was presented with a plaque and the Groesbeek give a bottle and two wine glasses for a toast symbolizing the two peoples.
Then, a representative of the city of Alghero in Sardinia (Italy) gave the Mayor a present from his sitting municipality, thus the basis for the next twinning Bullas and this Sardinian town.
During the two days of the meeting, the delegation could Bullas see how the grapes are grown in Holland and had the opportunity to taste the wines from both the host town and the other partners.
Ultimately, the working group exchange ideas in a debate on the consequences of climate change on the vine and possible adaptation measures and Bullas explained his involvement in the ACT Project on Adaptation to Climate Change and as time has citizens involved in it.
