The Councillor for Local Development, Maravillas Espin informed this morning of the actions from the Guidance Office for Employment and Self-Employment Assistance (OPEA) have been conducted by professional counselors and whose purpose, as in previous years, have been reporting on the labor market, define career goals, identify labor resources as well as offering job search techniques.
Espin, explained that the City of Bullas has offered this service for six months by a grant received by the Autonomous Community of Murcia through the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) amounting to € 33,474, so that might be hire 2 techniques of Vocational Guidance, 1 and 1 Technical Administrative Self-Employment.
In total 314 users have been treated, 60% were women and 40% male, which meant attending to 19.7% of the unemployed in Bullas.
Councilmember Local Development stressed that "from the City of Bullas will available to all citizens the tools that we have to facilitate the possibility of seeking employment through self-employment or to find a job and join the labor market."
The mayor of Bullas, Peter Guy, who accompanied the Councillor Espin, he was "optimistic" as the report of the four people served in advisory business projects, said that "the four will undertake a business activity."
Furthermore, she added that during the month of March in the town unemployment is down 80 people and has stated that "Bullas is the second municipality with the lowest level of unemployed in the Northwest Region."
Both the Local Development Councillor as Mayor insisted that they are working to create jobs in Bullas, on the other hand, they are in talks with the SEF manager to get back the grant and carry out actions in the next OPEA year 2012/2013.
