Bullas City Council, through the Department of Culture, has prepared a program of activities for the next celebration of World Book Day, scheduled for April 23.
The program, which has to schoolchildren and students as key players in this commemoration, results in various events and cultural events that take place in the coming days and, especially, on the day marked on the calendar as World Book Day .
So, on Friday April 20 will be done in the exhibition hall of the Cultural Development of a Bookmark Workshop aimed at children aged between 3 and 10 years upon enrollment in the Municipal Library.
Arrived at Monday, April 23, will be held in the morning, on the one hand, the local radio station "The Wave of Bullas," a literary and other texts are read in the Plaza of Spain, with the intention of encouraging writing, reading and creativity among young people of secondary school.
Facing the evening at 20 hours will open the exhibition of paintings by students of Jose Manuel Peñalver León.
Exhibition will be open through May 27 in the exhibition hall of the House of Culture.
After the inauguration ceremony will be held on awards of hiperbreve story competition with the theme "Women," sponsored by the Department of Equality, and also, will receive their awards to alumni / ae of the various schools that participated weeks before the contest Bookmark 2012.
Then, Clemencia and Ana Martinez, with live music Isbell will perform a poetry reading.
Programming to celebrate World Book Day culminates on Tuesday 24 April, with the storyteller in the Municipal Library with reading children's book "Columbine" by the author, Maria Dolores Perez and Juana María Egea illustrator.
Will be 17.30 hours for children / as 3 to 6 years old.
Finally, all these activities must be added to the alumni / ae of 3 rd and 4 th grade have collaborated in the development of a giant book that is exposed for viewing on the City Library.
