The European Mobility Week, which promotes the use of bicycles, public transport or simply walking, municipalities that are part of the Greenway Consortium Northwest wanted to show support to meet today in the hostel Cehegín.
At the ceremony were present Cehegín mayors and Bullas, José Pedro Soria and Chico, respectively, the Manager of the Tourist Consortium Northwest Greenway, Juan Soria, and the mayor caravaqueño, Salvador Gomez.
Under the slogan "Participate in mobility plans for your city: move in the right direction", the mayors and councilors have agreed to note that you have to use more rudimentary transport, such as cycling or walking, and there is too much pollution, caused mainly by the urban transport.
In the activity students have participated in the Workshop on Employment of the Greenway, who have done a tour of this route to the site of the City of Begastri.
Precisely on the Greenway, the Manager of the Consortium has said that in the last five months have been busy for 14,000 people and 10,000 foot, by bike, on the stretch Cehegín-Caravaca.
Tomorrow, World Car Free Day will be a good day for walking or biking, so it should become the starting point for a more sustainable world.
