Bullas City Council participates with the municipalities of Molina de Segura, Alguazas, Campos del Río, Albudeite, Mula and Caravaca Cehegín, on "one sheet" Cajamar Foundation in collaboration with the Consortium of Greenways the region of Murcia and coordinated by the Directorate of Employment Workshop "Northwest Greenway".
A program whose main objective is to raise awareness among young people about the problems of desertification and ways to combat it.
To do this, there will be two activities, one theoretical school in which the municipalities through which runs the route of the Greenway learn essential aspects of environmental restoration knowing the types of plants suitable for afforestation in desert areas, and other practice in planting native species such as rosemary, wild olive and pine in an area of ​​the route of the Via This activity takes place in the week of the revegetation from 26 to 31 October in the various municipalities mentioned above, being Bullas day 31.
That day, the students accompanied by staff Employment Workshop "Northwest Greenway" as well as those responsible for CAJAMAR and teachers of the center along with the Mayor of Bullas, Pedro Chico and the Manager of the Consortium, Juan Soria , plant species cultivated area specially for this event in a biodegradable pot containing an amendment made of agricultural waste compost and zeolite employed successfully by Cajamar Foundation in its environmental restoration program.
