The Department of Equality, area who runs M ª Antonia in April, has launched the "I Art Contest for Equality and Non-Violence" by reason of the proximity of the International Day Against Gender Violence which falls on November 25 with the aim of bringing the values ​​and principles of solidarity, equality and gender violence to the world of artistic expression.
Participation in the Contest any person over 16 years providing a piece or two at most it will be original of a topic related to equality and non-violence, in the categories of drawing, painting and sculpture.
The deadline for submission of the works will be up on November 16 at the Agency for Equal Opportunities in C / Entreplazas, s / n.
Once finished, a jury of City staff, Social Services and a person skilled in the art will take care to say who the winners, awarding the highest score with 200 euros, 100 euros for the second and third prize with 50 euros .
On November 23 shall be notified and present awards to the winners.
Finally, all the works submitted to the contest will be displayed in an exhibition.
