The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, accompanied by the mayor of Bullas, Pedro Chico, today visited the Wine Museum of the municipality.
During the visit, which was also attended by President of the PDO Bullas, Francisco Carreño, the Minister praised the expertise of wine tourism around town.
Pedro Alberto Cruz said "move toward the future lies in specialization in a specific product", and from there, he said, "where you have to structure the economic life of the municipalities", allowing associate with offers leisure tourism and the hospitality and trade.
He also noted that "such actions promote the diversification tourism in the region."
Earlier, the Minister of Culture and Tourism visited the Roman site of The Cantos, in which there have been several findings, among which include Roman sculptures known as the 'Child of the grapes'.
Furthermore, different mosaics have been recovered from the second century AD found at this site.
In The Cantos are appreciated the perimeter walls, the doors and the central part of the town, or 'impluvium', surrounded by columns.
Both the 'impluvium' like the finding of a new tile will be subject to conservation actions and consolidation by the Ministry, which allow us to offer these items to the public.
