Four members of the local workgroup Project ACT (Adaptation to Climate Change in Time) traveled to Ancona, Italy, the last days of 19 to 21 February to participate in a technical workshop on adaptation strategies for European cities.
The meeting organized by the European Commission in collaboration with the ICLEI (Local goverments for Sustainability), aimed essential to pool the various actions that municipalities or cities are underway for a more sustainable environmental development.
In the same representatives of Barcelona, ​​Almada (Portugal), Zadar (Croatia), Burgas (Bulgaria), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Ancona, Gibraltar, Patras (Greece) and Bullas.
In addition, the work revealed that ACT project partners are developing together.
Bullas representatives presented the work done within the Local Adaptation Plan which will be approved in a few dates.
The next 12 and March 13 will have a similar visit in Bullas where representatives of the other ACT Project partners know first hand what this town is doing with respect to this issue.
