Over two hundred students have celebrated World Book Day this morning with the reading of excerpts from well-known novels in Spanish literature as "Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes, "Platero and I" by Juan Ramon Jimenez.
The councilman of Culture and Education, Francisca Caballero, the received at 10 am in the Plaza of Spain, has long served as the backdrop for students of Artero Public Schools (4th, 5th, and 6th grade) and the Love of God (5th and 6th grade) have recited poems, read or interpreted popular reading a play from medieval times.
Later after 12 noon, Francisca Caballero went up to the second floor of the House of Culture to participate in a special program "Day Book" on the local radio station.
Listeners who have called and participated in the contest have been a book, "Bullas and characters" of D.
Juan Sánchez Pérez, official chronicler of the people.
Book, that the council has decided to give away, too, to all students who have participated in the collective reading.
The municipality of Bullas is held this day for a few weeks with storytelling by Pablo Albo, a workshop on Bookmark, creating a giant book on "comic", created by students in grades 5 and 6 of the schools in Bullas and La Copa, which can be seen exhibited in the Municipal Library, and the play last Saturday Theatre Company starring Zero "Three Little Pigs".
Also during this month local libraries offer discounts of 5% on the purchase of books and only during the day, indicated on the calendar by UNESCO Universal to pay tribute to books and authors, of up to 10%.
