On April 26, the Department of Equality and Women, directs area Maria Antonia April, presented awards to the winners of the eighteenth Hiperbreves Story Contest with the theme "Women".
The Contest were altogether 40 participants stories from different parts of the region and Spain.
Finally, after the assessment of a jury composed of a member of the Municipal Center for Women, a representative of the Center for Social Services Commonwealth Mula River, employees of the Office of Youth and Cultural Management and Agency equality, Councilman Equality and Women and a degree in Spanish Philology was awarded the first prize of 200 euros, Ana Belen April Carlini Bullas and his story 'Under construction', the second prize went to Joaquin Miguel Perez de Alicante Quesada 150 euro prize DC wrote '1685 'and the third prize went to Elisabeth Rodriguez Huéscar Bullas for his' Today' that took 50 euros.
The event was enlivened by Antonio Perez and Maria Bastida who made a poetry tribute to the woman.
Antonio recite poems by Mario Benedetti, Pablo Neruda and Luis Alberto de Cuenca, among others, while Mary accompanied him on guitar.
