The meeting was also attended by the Medical Director of the Northwest Regional Hospital, Angel Baeza, the Fourth Area Medical Assistant, Mercedes Barba, and the Nursing Supervisor, Antonio Marín.
This health service is part of the Comprehensive Care Program Women (PEPA), presented yesterday by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, which will be implemented in the nine areas of the Regional Health Map in order to unify criteria and ensure care universal care to all women of the Autonomous Region from criteria based on quality and excellence.
He has said that this service if the aim "is to decentralize certain health tests" and prevent, in this case with gynecological care, "women have to move to Caravaca Regional Hospital."
