Children from kindergarten doodles, yesterday, and the Center for Child Care (ISC), today, have planted native species such as petunia and pines in their respective centers, an activity included in the program of environmental activities in June 2013 organized by the Department of Environment.
Aided by the staff of the City municipal services small have learned to dig a hole in the ground, bury the plant and, finally, water it with a watering can.
The Mayor, Pedro Chico, has said that "during this month which aim is to encourage more young people to have to defend, preserve and conserve our natural resources and our environment."
A good way to do this is to motivate children making them the protagonists, putting their two cents in sustainable development and environmental respect.
