The new service provides an improvement over the renewal of the fleet of garbage collection and street cleaning that includes two new garbage trucks for solid waste, a truck with tail lift equipment, a sweeper, one washer and two utility vehicles to inspect the service, one hybrid.
The new concessionaire will also replace all other containers recycled and organic materials and adapt a vehicle truck compactor roller pen for collection.
The collection service will be provided during the day, between six o'clock and two o'clock in the afternoon on five days a week and do not provide service on Wednesdays and Sundays.
As said Campos, presidential advisor and president of the Consortium for Solid Waste Management, these improvements are designed to "provide a more efficient, with an important commitment for the environment by reducing pollution from vehicles, fuel consumption and the use of recyclable materials, adapting to more sustainable cities with a selective collection of waste. "
He added that "working in the Autonomous Community Waste Plan 2014-2020, in order to comply with the European Directive and achieve the ultimate goal of reducing the residual fraction.
