Bullas Mayor, Pedro Fernández Chico, yesterday presented the new edition of the popular "Calendar Zaragozano" which is published in Spain since the nineteenth century and this year has chosen this town as a leading population.
Each year, the calendar honors a Spanish municipality, which highlights its traditions, festive dates, fairs and most curious peculiarities.
In 2014 this honor will fall to the town of Bullas after being discarded many other towns and cities in a complex selection process.
On the occasion of this singular election, the City Council has organized a full program of activities including cabañuelas workshop, a course of astronomy judiciary and an exhibition of old almanacs.
Pedro Chico has highlighted the importance of this collaboration agreement in the face of tourism promotion Bullas nationwide because we must not forget that each year in Spain sold thousands of copies of this famous, ancient and often controversial calendar.
