Mayor Pedro Chico Bullas, with councilors of Environment, Rafael Caceres, Works and Services, Francisco Martinez, visited the refurbishment of the river bed of Mula in different stretches as it passes through Bullas.
The purpose of the visit is the beginning of the refurbishment of several sections of the river, due to thunderstorms September 2012 they were greatly damaged by the torrential rains.
After visits to the various ministries and the Segura basin, in a first phase, they will invest around 60.0000 € to repair a section of roadbed and two fords of the river in order to facilitate the transit of vehicles in the area and facilitate access to a high-value tourism and agriculture.
One of the sections to be repaired is known as the birth of the source of Mula, which had been badly damaged after torrential rains.
The works will take approximately 2 months.
Today is already working on developing several projects to continue the regeneration of other areas of the channel that also suffered damage.
