The municipality of Bullas celebrated from January 31 to March 9, the 'Wine Festival 2014', featuring routes pairing, exhibitions, guided tours of wineries, concerts, cinema visits and courses.
The general director of the Institute for Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, presented today programming accompanied by the Mayor of Bullas, Pedro Chico, said the parties "are an opportunity to explore the diversity and richness of the cuisine of the region."
He pointed out that Murcia is the only province with three certified routes wine and said they are "an essential element in the promotion of the Community".
The CEO added that tourism policies in the region up wine as a "factor of tourist and cultural promotion" and create wealth and jobs, noting that recent data from the wine route point to an increase 15987-32638 of visitors in three years, which is a variation of 67 percent.
So, the director noted that with these figures, "the wine is not an investment in the future, but a reality."
The Wine Festival will begin on Friday and will feature tastings, concerts, exhibitions, conferences, promotional tours, projections and descorches wine until 9 March.
In addition, 10 wineries will participate in the 'Wine Cover 2014' tapas offering unique visitors.
Also, every Saturday from 15 March to 19 April, will Bullas pairing dinners at different wineries.
