Next Wednesday, February 26, marks the 25th anniversary of the fall of the historic Pine Murta.
That day will remain in the memory of the neighbors because the town suffered one of the windiest days in its history.
The strong winds caused damage to homes, industrial buildings, schools, etc.., Fortunately there was no personal injury, but what will always be remembered was falling called Pino of Murta having a height of over 10 meters .
Twenty years later, the Department of Culture, directed area Francisca Caballero, has organized a photographic exhibition entitled "El Pino of Murta".
In that moment she photographs are collected and can be viewed over the years to our present age.
The exhibition will be traveling along different points of the city until March 9 will open Friday at 18 am at the Temple of the Murta.
