Bodegas del Rosario succeeds in choosing the best wines from the DO Bullas last season (26/02/2014)

The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Bullas delivered on the evening of Tuesday February 25 awards to the best examples of the new wines made in the last campaign of the eleven participating wineries.

So, Bodegas del Rosario won six awards, three gold and three silver, becoming the winner of the night.

In addition, they were also awarded the Bodegas Carrascalejo (gold and silver), the Bodega Cooperativa San Isidro (gold medal), and Bodegas Monastrell (silver medal).

Choosing the best wines took place during the "VII Bullas Wine Show" held at the Wine Museum of the municipality.

There the "VII Contest Wine Quality DO Bullas" included in the calendar published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment official wine competitions and officially recognized in 2014 to be held in the country was conducted.

So, Adrian Martinez, director of the Instituto Murciano Agrifood Research and Development (Imide) conducted a blind tasting attended by wine tasters.

Among the bases that regulate this event, had established three awards (gold, silver and bronze) for each of the categories of white, rosé, red wood-young, young red wood and red wines aged in wood.

The awards could not exceed 30 percent of the total samples were submitted to the contest and finally the following.
