The organic area of ​​the Region of Murcia has grown in the last decade by 66%, reaching in 2013 a total of 61.197 hectares devoted to organic farming in 2003 when there were 20,582.

According to the president of the Organic Farming Council of the Region of Murcia (CAERM), David Samper, "It is consolidating the growth of a sector, however, still has great potential to exploit.
