The Action Plan for Sustainable Energy (PAES), prepared by the City of Bullas, has received approval from Brussels.
This plan was submitted in June by Mayor Pedro Chico, and the Councillor for Environment, Rafael Caceres, society Bullas and subsequently had to be sent to the "Joint Research Center" for final approval.
Has been made recently.
In PAES an inventory of more than 256 pages in which the overall strategy for the reduction of greenhouse gases, where Bullas City Council is committed to reducing by 20% the issuance thereof is exposed is collected.
This initiative is part of the Covenant of Mayors, compromise in which the signatory mayors work for reducing emissions, improving building energy efficiency, cleaner energy production and its responsible use, according to the target set by the European Union for 2020.
Over the next two years, until 2016, this Plan should be updated with the results obtained by the implementation of austerity measures.
