The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin Bullas and the City of Bullas named Alberto Garre, President of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, as Master of Wine in the year 2015.
The award, a figure in wood "pisaúvas" on the square of Spain, made by local artist, Bernardo Love, handed the Mayor, Pedro Chico, Garre in a ceremony held at the House of Culture at the presence of various authorities as chairman of the Regulatory Council, Francisco Carreño, and the president of the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (Acevin) and former Master of Wine 2014, Diego Ortega.
"The support of the Government of Murcia in the aggrandizement brand quality local wines and local wine deserves this distinction in the figure Garre," said the mayor, who said that "now lies with him being a good ambassador our wines. "
The regional chief executive welcomed the appointment said "I further links with the town and all Bullas" adding that the Wine Festival, frame in which this event is included, "is a magnificent tourist reference to attract thousands of visitors to a town that always welcomed with open arms. "
The event which was enlivened by the Argentine group '2 + 2 Tango', also attended the Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, the Director General of Industry Agrifood and agricultural training, Ángel García Lidón and members of the Municipal Corporation , Regulatory and residents of the town council.
