On Saturday April 18th (21 hours) the mayor of Bullas, Peter Boy, officially submitted his candidacy for reelection in the upcoming municipal elections of May 24.
A ceremony to be held in Marimingo local restaurant and will be attended by various leaders of the Popular Party (PP) in the Region of Murcia.
Chico, president of PP Bullas town and was elected mayor of the municipality in the 2011 elections, appears to "continue the exciting work that is to serve all the residents of Bullas" in his own words.
"We have done many things during these four years, we have made progress, but there are still many other Bullas done to make further progress in the right direction in which it does now," Chico said.
"We still have many strengths, enthusiasm and excitement, and hope that the citizens of Bullas still believe in our management, which guarantee success in this term," says the popular candidate.
The event, in which Chico also present the electoral list will be attending these local elections, are invited all residents of the municipality.
Pedro Chico (Bullas, 1965) is a lawyer and entered as a councilor to the City of Bullas in 1995 until he was elected mayor by absolute majority in 2011 after 32 years of leftist governments.
In addition, he served as regional deputy between 1999 and 2011.
