A delegation of businessmen and institutional representatives, headed by the mayor of Bullas, Peter Boy, and the President of the Bullas Wine Route, Francisco Carreño, moved on 27 April to Extremadura, specifically, attached to different sites Wine Route Ribera del Guadiana, in order to see first hand the municipalities, establishments, wineries and wine tourism services that integrate the club offer regional product.
The first day, the delegation visited Murcia in Almendralejo Museum of Wine Science, Plaza de Toros of the city, unique in the world that hides a cellar under the grandstand, and prehistoric tomb of Huerta Montero.
There, they were received by the Mayor, Jose Garcia, who met with the mayor of Bullas and technical meeting between members of the two routes.
Zafra, during the second day, toured different points of interest to know major figures of the offer of the Wine Route of Ribera del Guadiana, such as wineries, lodging, gastrobares, restaurants, wine bars, interpretation centers and museums.
The initiative is framed in the activities of exchange of experience and knowledge to develop integrated various Wine Routes Product Club of the Association of Wine Cities of Spain (ACEVIN).
The ultimate aim of these visits is to promote networking and sharing success stories and best practice models.
