Councillor of Agriculture, Juan Valera, and representatives of the three communities of irrigators who use wastewater treatment plant Bullas (WWTP), recently visited the site of the new treatment plant and connecting the future outflow of treated water with pipes that each community has to take place on completion of works.
Previously, they held a meeting where they talked about the need to store water during the winter to use it during the summer with the construction of a new reservoir, as well as the use of temporary or permanent use of the gaps.
Councilman asked the Communities the speed of its water needs study and the light output they will need when this work is finished to see the possibility of spending is minimal for irrigators.
Moreover, the City Council has asked ESAMUR Bullas, at the request of one of the irrigation communities, the desembalse water for irrigation to trees that had serious danger to dry because of the extreme drought that we are suffering.
"We are in permanent contact with the monitoring of the construction of the new treatment plant, as well as with the irrigation communities that the waters of this treatment plant are harvested by farmers of our people with the least possible cost," noted Juan Valera.
